My First Freelance Project: INDAH by Elizabeth

When I first started learning web development, I knew I wanted to take my skills beyond practice projects. I had already built a few static websites with HTML and CSS, but I wanted to bring something real to life, something that would challenge me and allow me to grow.

That opportunity came with INDAH by Elizabeth, a fashion brand with a minimalist, elegant aesthetic. The client was looking for a clean, black-and-white website that felt original and aligned with her brand. She shared a reference site that inspired her, and from there we bagan collaborating.

We held several meeting to define the layout, user flow, and visual tone. I shared design drafts and adjusted the structure based on her feedback to ensure everything matched her vision.

This was also my first time using React.js un a real-world project, and I absolutely loved it. I combined React with Ant Design for a modern UI framework, and worked alongside a backend developer who helped implement the payment logic.

For the database and client contact form, I chose Firebase, wich allowed us to manage product images and user data easily.

This project became a personal milestone. It was the first time I applied what I had learned in a real context, working with a real client, real feedback, and real goals. The result exceeded her expectations, and mine.

I'm incredibly proud of what I achieved, not just for the final result, but for the journey it took to get there. This project confirmed that I love creating digital experiences for brands, especially entrepreneurs who want to bring their ideas online in a meaningful way.
